Meet our founders & principals

Spherica, LLC, headquartered in northeast Ohio, was founded by sisters Heidi Weiker and Tanya Weiker. Though their professional paths and areas of expertise are distinctly different, they share a common commitment to, and vision of, well-being and guiding people to achieve high performance levels.

Today, Heidi and Tanya continue to be very proactive, hands-on leaders of the company they founded together. When you read these brief bios of Heidi and Tanya you’ll start to understand why Spherica’s approach to performance and well-being is so unique, impacting and effective.


Heidi M. Weiker, MSSA
Heidi is the co-owner of Spherica LLC and has almost 20 years of experience in coaching, counseling, program design, classroom instruction, and executive consultation. Trained and educated as a clinical social worker, she has brought her unique background and experience into the corporate and athletic arena. Her expertise and insight into human behavior is born of her extensive experience in an extreme range of settings with very diverse people – from inner city gang members to CEOs and their executive teams. Most notably, Heidi has spent many recent years as the direct counsel to the several CEOs of a major international companies and firms – writing major communications, and designing and implementing strategies for culture, connected leadership, engagement, morale, and high-touch communications.

Heidi's distinctive philosophy and teachings are founded on her conviction that all success, regardless of the environment, resides in the authentic and real understanding and connection between human beings. She is a visionary in the conceptual understanding, application and instruction of harnessing the power of the mind, the body, the spirit, and the heart together. Naturally dynamic and innovative, Heidi has an innate ability to create stimulating, insightful, and fun learning atmospheres. She has a relentless passion for challenging and motivating her clients. Whether negotiating rival gang “pow-wows,' leading highly-charged interactions in the executive boardroom, or working with athletes in their elements, she facilitates candid, intellectual and productive dialogue. Heidi is recognized for her strong ability to reach the spirits of people by conveying her genuine acceptance of all thoughts, opinions and perspectives, while challenging current-state thinking and inviting new concepts, ideas and approaches.

Heidi received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Miami University and her Masters in Social Science Administration from Case Western Reserve University, MSASS. Outside of Spherica, she is a devoted reader and writer. She loves music and all fine arts, and enjoys fitness and the outdoors, photography, travel, and spending quality time with her family and friends. She volunteers her time with youth both at schools and in church; she is most passionate about the plight of teenagers and youth today. Most importantly, Heidi engages in a personal walk of faith and strives to abide by her own teachings, counsel and beliefs.


Tanya L Weiker, PT, CPT
Tanya is an Orthopedic Physical Therapist and a Certified Personal Trainer with over 15 years of experience in all aspects of spine care, preventative health care, CORE training and athletic performance, total well-being, and the physiology of stress and relaxation. She has earned national recognition as a pioneer in the innovation and development of stability ball theory, exercise and application, and as a guide in the multifaceted approach to movement and tension reduction. Tanya is most valued by her clients for her fascinating system of body analysis and discovery.  

Combining her expertise, knowledge and passion, Tanya founded Spherica LLC , a forerunning business, which she now co-owns and co-runs with her sister, Heidi. Tanya's specific outreach includes innovative workshops and seminars on the physiology of the stress reaction, emotional hi-jacking and reaction, comprehensive physical health and fitness, and thoughts into action. Tanya's personal experience has blessed her with an intrinsic and deep understanding of her clients and their extremely diversified needs: from the high-level motivation and drive of experienced executives and exceptional athletes, to the hopelessness and despair of those living with long-term pain. Her philosophy integrates awareness, education, movement, and the art of ‘listening to the body' into cutting-edge performance and wellness systems. Her approach is respectful, intuitive, motivating, and fun.

Tanya's experience as the primary Physical Therapist for Cleveland Clinic Foundation's multi-disciplinary spine teams created the foundation with which she builds and designs her curriculums.   She maintains her ongoing partnerships with renowned and leading-edge orthopedic surgeons and pain doctors. She has presented nationally and internationally educating peers, physicians, patients, clients, athletes, professionals, and executives. Additionally, Tanya has served as the educational consultant to Thera-band and NEFITCO. In these roles, she has collaborated with leaders from both companies to develop and promote the instructional aspect of fitness and therapy CORE product utilization and she has co-developed and modeled for the instructional poster and box cover of the stability ball.  

Tanya is a graduate of The Ohio State University, where she received her Bachelors in Science, and completed her degree in Physical Therapy after spending her first few years at Indiana University. Tanya's interests outside of the business include a wide variety of athletics and cross-training, fine arts, alternative healing practices, dance, and yoga.   She is an avid reader and writer, and is often found studying the human energy field and its relationship to health and performance. Tanya most values her faith, her relationships with her family and friends, volunteering, and her dog (kid) Kincaide.
